October 4th, 2023 — FreeCAD

Join Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) on Wednesday, October 4th at 18:30 EDT for a presentation on FreeCAD.

Mike Cowper1 will speak on FreeCAD, a general-purpose parametric 3D computer-aided design (CAD) modeler. Intended for mechanical engineering product design, it has expanded to a wider range of use — including use in 3D printing. FreeCAD is free and open-source, under the LGPL-2.0-or-later license.

CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility at 6220 Castleway West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46250. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over Google Meet for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)

CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month. Please be sure to block that night off in your calendar to keep it available and subscribe to our announce mailing list to be kept informed of upcoming topics! (In November, Joe Greene will present on OpenSCAD. In December, SuSE’s Don Vosburg will present.)
