Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG)’s April meeting will be an informative one with a talk on Fedora & KDE, with KDE Plasma 6 by Neal Gompa1!
The Fedora Linux distribution is commonly known for its GNOME variant “Fedora Workstation”. But did you know that Fedora has a KDE variant, too? And did you know that it has the latest and greatest from KDE in the upcoming Fedora 40 release with KDE Plasma 6? This talk will provide a brief overview of Fedora KDE and KDE Plasma 6.0, as well as what Fedora brings to the table with Fedora KDE.
The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EDT on Wednesday, April 3rd.
CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility2. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)
CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month. Please be sure to block that night off in your calendar to keep it available! Tentative upcoming topics are:
- June: hyperconverged infrastructure software
- July: CUPS
- September: NixOS
