Join us with Terry Bowling1 as he shares how Foreman, along with Katello, Pulp, and Candlepin provide the upstream open source projects and functionality that make up Red Hat Satellite. Red Hat Satellite is the premier management solution for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
As explained at TheForeman.org, “Foreman is a complete lifecycle management tool for physical and virtual servers. We give system administrators the power to easily automate repetitive tasks, quickly deploy applications, and proactively manage servers, on-premise or in the cloud.”
Our Wednesday, July 1st meeting starts at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EDT.
CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility2. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged. Attendees often head over to a nearby restaurant, afterward, for drinks and camaraderie!)
CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month, so please block that night off in your calendar to keep it available. You are also encouraged to sign up for our mailing lists and to follow us on our various social media sites3 to receive announcements and participate in discussions.
