Michael Schultheiss is a Senior Unix Systems Engineer with the Office of Information Technology at Ivy Tech Community College, the largest singly accredited community college in the United States. He has been using Linux since 1995. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Krissy.

Jason Corfman first installed Linux at home in February 2005 as a personal experiment and quickly fell in love with it. Since 2002, he has been the IT Manager at the Daily Reporter in Greenfield, where he oversees their Windows-based network. He lives in Greenfield with his wife, Gayle.

David Brown has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and has been supporting Rolls-Royce as a systems engineer since the mid-1990s. Experimental Test utilizes Linux test stand data acquisition systems and Linux web/database servers/applications. These systems are used in jet engine testing for civil, defense, marine and industrial products. He is also the self-published author of “The Omega Gambit,” a Christian Dystopian Sci-Fi Thriller.

Kim Brand is the President of Computer Experts, Inc and Managing Partner of Server Partners, LLC. He has worked in technology for over 25 years. Kim has published two books: Common C Functions by Que in 1986 and ZOPE: Web Application Development and Content Management by New Riders in 2001.

Tom Conrad is a Senior Engineer with Total Electronics LLC, an Electronics Manufacturing Service division of SpectraGraphics Corporation. His engineering endeavors range from test equipment integration and hp-ux board testers to networking of database systems using Interbase/Firebird on Linux. He has a B.S. in Math/Computer Science from Manchester College and delights in deploying Linux wherever possible, especially if it means he doesn’t have to admin Windows!

Pat Milligan started his career developing telephony applications on an IBM beta version of UNIX called CPIX. This was followed by a nine year stint in New Jersey working for AT&T and Bell Labs using AT&T UNIX. Upon returning to Indianapolis, he turned to GNU/Linux with the first Red Hat release (Mothers Day).

Terry Bowling is a Technical Product Manager at Red Hat, Inc. Prior experience includes 12 years as a UNIX/Linux SysAdmin for companies in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music Engineering Technology from Ball State University. When not acting as a father, husband, or Red Hatter, you’ll find him hiding in the basement playing guitar.
