Topic: Introduction to Linux Firewalls with iptables

Presenter: Mike Cowper

Mike Cowper will give a presentation on iptables, the command used to configure the Linux kernel packet filtering modules. This is the software behind the majority of Linux firewalls. He will explain the basics of how to use iptables to create your own firewall, or to understand what the Linux firewall that you are currently using is doing.

Mike Cowper is the Senior Systems Administrator at Midwest Internet.
