CINLUG meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month. The meetings start at 7:00PM and usually last approximately 1.5 hours. Meetings are currently held at the Crosspoint offices of EDS on the northeast side of Indianapolis. How's attendance?

How many people come to these meetings? I've been plugging the boot camp and CINLUG among my friends, but we're all boring-married-with-kids types who have a hard time getting away sometimes.

Anyway, just curious...I'll probably attend the December meeting.

Re: How

We typically have 15-20 people show up at meetings. Sometimes less (~10), sometimes more (~25).

Re: How

Normally 15-25 folks show up, but we've had as many as 35-40 people at one meeting; and 35-40 is probably the max the room will hold. If the membership grows significantly we'll have to consider a different location. I said 15-25 normally show, but we've had 100 different folks show up at various times over the last couple years, and the web has 200+ registered users. If all the registered users showed up for a meeting we'd have to move the meeting outside to the parking lot and perhaps if someone brought a rubber ball we could play a mean game of dodgeball!

Re: How

I came to the Dec. meeting, my first one. It was interesting, although I know nothing about coding.

Re: How

Welcome. I hope my presentation wasn't too boring for ya! P.S. Todd, I had your CD you wanted, I'll keep it in my laptop case and you can get it at the next meeting you show up to. Glad we had the meeting on Wed. and not last night, we'd have had nobody there! :o

I got stranded in gridlock from 3:00 - 10:00 down on Fall Creek, and then once it started moving I didn't get home 'til 1:00 am!!! :(

Baby #2 will be here in 3-5 weeks, so evening time's been getting shorter and shorter as the due date has approached. I'm completely serious about picking up stuff from you should you wish (unless your wife doesn't allow Linuxnerds on the property). :)
