People sometimes ask me if it is a sin in the Church of Emacs to use vi. Using a free version of vi is not a sin; it is a penance. So happy hacking.

I know most of you use Linux exclusively...but for those of you who actually do use Windows sometimes you might like to be able to use your familiar Linux tools like Gimp and Firefox, etc. Here is a site that has some greate "freeware" and "opensource" as well as as "free for home users" tools that you might like to install on your Windows Box...that is if you haven't already reformatted it.
