Foo. My hard drive croaked.

tlyons

My old 6GB just bit the biscuit, leaving my trusty (i.e. old) Athlon-800 Sid-less. I can probably use my distro test computer temporarily but right now I'm typing this in windows (the shame...).

Any leads on a local place that sells relatively small (say 20-40GB) drives for a reasonable cost?

The price of buying drives never seems to come down... it's just the same price ($50+) for larger and larger drives.

I might have a spare 8G or 10G IDE drive I could give you. I'll look when I get home.

Nope. I guess I threw it in with that case and monitor I sold a while back. Sorry.

I've got some spare hard drives (8-10G iirc). I'll take a look at what I have and get back to you.
