TUX Magazine - The Free Mag for New Linux Users
Many people who'd like to try Linux don't, because they're afraid it will be too hard to install, or too different from what they already know.
Linux is as easy to install and as simple to use as Windows. Most "brands" of Linux (also known as distributions or "distros") are free of charge, and you can even try them out by running them from the CD instead of installing them to your hard drive (these are called "Live CDs").
If you've downloaded a copy of MEPIS, SuSE, Kubuntu, Mandriva, or Fedora (some of the popular distros) and would like to learn more about it, TUX Magazine is a great place to start. You can read online, sign up for electronic subscription, and even download previous issues.
