Mark September 10, 2005 on your calendar! It is the second annual Software Freedom Day (SFD). A range of events around the world are being staged to raise public awareness of Free and Open Source Software.

Software Freedom Day is still going on around the globem, we just couldn't hold an event locally since we were unable to work out the logistics when our initial venue fell through. We do have some insight into what we need to do to be able to use certain venues around town for next time though.

We're leaning towards the FLOSS (Freely Licensed Open-Source Software) demo. More details to come.
