What's the difference between the CINLUG > Upcoming Events and the CINLUG > Events message areas?

One's moderated, one isn't. Upcoming events was setup for event announcements w/o discussions. I don't know if we really need that anymore.

It might be redundant. Events are already posted as stories on the front page. If we combine the two areas, you could post an announcement in the general Events area as an "Announcement" and lock the thread if you really don't want anyone to respond to it.

I don't really care if people respond to the event posts. I think I set it up the way I did since future events are up for discussion, but already planned events often aren't (although discussion isn't a bad thing, it's just unlikely to change anything for some events).
