2005 CINLUG Board Elections

The [url=http://www.cinlug.org/about/bylaws_html]CINLUG bylaws[/url] set the Annual Meeting of CINLUG as the first Wednesday in March. At the annual meeting, the next CINLUG Board of directors is elected.

The [url=http://www.cinlug.org/about/bylaws_html]bylaws[/url] call for seven board members. Five of the current board members have expressed interest in continuing on the board:

Chris Pruitt has said he will serve if needed but would not mind allowing someone more active to fill his post.

We currently need at least one (perhaps two) volunteer for the next CINLUG Board of Directors. If you're interested in volunteering, please let us know in this thread.

The main responsibilities entail arranging meeting space and speakers, determining meeting topics, and scheduling events.

CINLUG's annual expenses are roughly $120/year (less if we cut back on gift cards at the annual meeting). The dues used to be $30/year but now we've switched to a donation basis rather than a fixed dues schedule. We're currently working on setting up the ability to take donations online.
