possibly hosting a IRC server

I was wondering if the group would be interested in a IRC server for the group's personal use. I have a great deal of experence hosting and mantaining a IRC server. I felt that after the community has givin so much time and effort into developing this wonderful OS its the least i could give back. Seeing as i have no other skill's as to programming, HTML design, or even proper english half the time :P thanks for the time you took to read this post
