LILO HELP!!!

i'm trying to remove LILO from by MBR, but i stupidly forgot to invoke `lilo -u /dev/hda' before wiping my linux partition. how do i remove lilo while still safely preserving my current MBR.
ummm... riiight.... i know this will sound weird but i was removing linux this evening, and i forgot to invoke `lilo -u /dev/hda' before wiping my linux partition. i want to be able to boot to Win2k with-out having to deal with lilo seeing i put it on another computer. how do i remove lilo while still safely preserving my current MBR config? i don't want to corrupt it. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks! :-)

never mind!!! i figured it out! :-) you have to boot with the win2k cd and select Recovery Console, invoke `fixmbr \Device\HardDisk0' then `fixboot c:'.
