July 1, 2015 - General Meeting

Topic: NetworkManager

Presenter: Terry Bowling

Mr. Bowling will be giving a presentation on NetworkManager, the default network management system in Fedora 21 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. NetworkManager is a set of co-operative tools that make networking simple and straightforward. Whether Wi-Fi, wired, bond, bridge, 3G, or Bluetooth, NetworkManager allows you to quickly move from one network to another: once a network has been configured and joined, it can be detected and re-joined automatically the next time its available. More information is available at https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/NetworkManager

Terry Bowling has been a UNIX/Linux admin for the past 15 years. He currently works out of Indianapolis as a Senior Technical Account Manager for Red Hat, Inc.
