Installation and Configuration

• Steps to installing Xen:

• Install Linux distribution (this will eventually become Domain0)

• Add supporting packages/libraries needed by Xen

• Obtain and install Xen utilities, Xen kernel, XenLinux kernel

• Modify Grub to boot Xen kernel and transfer control to Xen Linux

• Reboot and select new grub option

• Create a second domain
